How do we make sense of our erratic weather patterns?

Certainly we are hitting all kinds of records these days—with extreme temperatures, historic droughts, freak sandstorms, and unthinkable tsunamis. Have you wondered if your location will be next to experience bizarre weather?

In my new book, I have an overview of the changes occurring during these pivotal years, and how you can respond fearlessly to what’s happening. Below is an excerpt from the book, highlighting our shifting weather patterns.

“Earth changes will be felt in some of the familiar places; some examples are hurricanes in Florida and earthquakes in California, Japan, and Chile. Changes in climate will also be experienced in some new locations that have not been touched by erratic weather patterns.”

Thanks to technology, today’s meteorologists have a better track record of predicting the weather. Predicting earthquakes and freak storms is another matter. We often don’t know these are coming until we wake up one morning to news of a mega earthquake like happened in Japan this past March.

Sometimes the shaking from an earthquake like this seems uncomfortably close, even when we can’t tangibly feel it. That’s because our nervous system can be impacted by Earth movements and disasters far away. We can feel these things in our emotional body. We can feel on edge, as though ripples from what just happened far away are traveling across the planet and are registered by our senses.

You don’t need to have a connection to Japan or to have visited there to feel the uneasiness the Japanese are experiencing since the March disaster. After all, our world is an interconnected planet and each of us is a part of the whole. We can hide our heads under the covers, but this doesn’t change the truth of our oneness.
